Stampin' UP My Digital Studio

I told you guys something new was coming.   Stampin' UP had this awesome opportunity to be a demonstrator for half the price and I plunged forward.  I have only been scrapbooking for 1 year and I love it.  It helps me relax.  I love digital scrapbooking.  Many people see paper and punches and there minds go wild on what shapes they can make.  Me on the other had, I see digital files, and my mind goes wild.  So needless to see I was estatic when I was able to purchase Stampin' UP My Digital Studio (MDS).  I am limited on space and with using the computer, creations are endless, plus If I mess up, I can delete it and start over again.  The picture is in web pixels, so the view might not be so great.

Feel Free to order your Stampin' UP supplies here.  I would love to be your demonstrator.  Please feel free to email me at itsjustpaper_ms@yahoo.com if you have any questions.

Winter Frolic Meets Audrey

Hi everyone,
I was doing a little experimenting last night and wanted to see what the Audrey Imagine cartridge would look like inside a winter Frolic ornament and It came out beautiful.  I would love to emboss this card, but trying to figure out how to ink the ornament.  Any suggestions, please hit me up in the comment section.  Hope you enjoy.

14 Birthday Card-Imagine Snapshot Everyday

Well I am so happy I got my Imagine back.  I made this card for my son's birthday.  He turned 14 and made the basketball team.   The Imagine Snapshot: Everyday cartridge had a basketball texture on it and my mind went to work.  While it's a simple card, I love the way it came out and with a 14 year old, I didn't want to put too much on it.    I know, I know it looks like I cuttlebugged it, but I didn't!!!  Whooohooo

Tweetheart It's your Bird day

Tomorrow is my hubby's b-day and I wanted to make a card for him that went with the Cricut Circle blog challenge.  So I decided to make this card.  I tried to stitch, but I need so much more work on it.  I also used my I-Top.   The Itop is my most favorite tool of all time.    Oh and the paper, Viola,  I finally got my Imagine back.  Of course , I was thinking they would send me a refurbished one.  Well, it sounds like a tractor, much louder than my original and I am liking all the things that this machine can do, but I am a bit disappointed by it at the same time.  Any Tweetheart, hope you enjoy

Throwback Thursday Challenge 11/5

This week's challenge had to be food themed.  Well my niece came over a couple of weeks ago and she attempted to make brownies and I snapped a few pics of her with my Canon Rebel EOS XSI.  I love this camera and am looking for a great website to help me figure out the settings.  .

300 DPI October Challenge

I love digital scrapbooking and I am torn between traditional and digital.  This is my entry.  Die Cuts With a View has a wonderful website  300dpi.com that allows you to download the paper packs that are in the store for only a fraction of the price.  This is my little critter below and boy did we have a time choosing a costume.  He wanted to be Bumblebee the Transformer.  Actually we were Optimus Prime last year.  But boys will be boys.

Throwback Thursday Challenge

This week's Throwback Thursday challenge for My Creative time for me with Emma ****Must be an "CHRISTMAS" theme project!****Use "CELEBRATIONS" cartridge .

This was indeed a challenge for me, but I was so anxious to use my Imaginisce Christmas Cottage paper and my wonderful I-Top tool.   The brads were made using the I-Top tool and Christmas Cottage paper.  This is my new fave.  So for the challenge I used the card feature and accents on one of the cuts to make my son's Dear Santa list that we will be mailing to the North Pole.  Hmmm.  I wonder what happens to all those letters?  Hope you enjoy

The Cricut Circle Blog is up and running.  Beginning today, you will have to be a member of the Cricut Circle to access the blog.  The Challenge this week was in honor of Breast Cancer and we were asked to create a layout, card or home decor object with and incorporate Three of the following things:  Pink, Scallops, Glitter, Flourishes, Jewels, and Ribbon.  I decided to create a home decor project.  I was shopping at Hobby Lobby the other day and found this little cute cardboard box (50% of so I paid $1.24).  I covered it with  ColorBok (Walmart) cardstock to dress it up. And boy did my imagination start flowing.  Since it was the first box, I have done, I didn't add a lot, but now I think I am going to get some more and and do a theme set.  This particular box I am going to use to put all of my momentos from the various races for the cure that I have participated in over the years.

Fatabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday -August 23

The Challenge Me Monday this week was to create a tropical project since it is hot in many places in the world. It is definitely hot in Mississippi.  We did get a great breeze this evening thought it reminds me that my favorite time of the year is near   Falll....   I had some great pictures from our Staycation in New Orleans.  Even though we live in MS, we have family in New Orleans (our former home before Katrina) and its like home for us. My son was an infant when he first went to the aquarium and now as a curious kindergartner, I enjoyed hearing the ooohs and awws and watching his big eyes.  They have a portion of the Audubon Aquarium that is dedicated to the Amazon rainforest and I wanted to scrap the magnificent birds that were so close you could touch them.

Peachy Keen Color and Sketch Challenge #35

Wow, School has started and I am trying to catch up on all the wonderful challenges.  Peachy Keen Stamps had this wonderful challenge and below is my submission.  The challenge had to incorporate the colors of orchid, apricot, and teal.  I had some stamps that I combined because some of my stamps get no love and want to use those that I would not normally use.  Remember Smiling is Contagious, give one today to a complete stranger.

Throwback Thursday at My Creative Time

Another Great Throwback Thursday Challenge at My Creative Time.  I love doing the challenges because they motivate me to scrap or make a card on particular topics and use cartridges that have been sitting on my shelf.  Well my son started kindergarten this week.  I actually think I was more nervous than him.  He is super excited about ridding the bus.  In the challenge, we were asked to create a project that has a Back to School Tribute.  And while I am a working mom and my son has been in school since he was 10 weeks old, he has never taken the bus.  So to all the bus drivers, who deliver our children  to school safely and bring them home safely, from all the parents, I say thank you.  Your job is invaluable to us and we appreciate what you do.  You give us that little extra time in the morning to relax before our day completely starts.  Ok so on the project.

I made the card on my darling Gypsy.  (That Girl is my BFF!)
I used Locker Talk for all of the cuts.
I even used the hide/contour feature to make the triangle background shape.
The small prints I used my Dell Wasabi printer (Great for scrapbooking)
I added the page elements.. spare parts from Hobby Lobby
The Crayola ribbon I found at Big Lots!!

This was our first trip to the New Orleans Aquarium since Hurricane Katrina.  It is simply breathtaking.  This visit brought back so many memories of our pre-Katrina days living in that marvelous city.  I used my Dell Wasabi printer (also known as the POGO).  It uses Zink ink and comes in handy with those little perfect fit photo sizes.

Thinking of You Card

Okay, I bought another gadget today.  Micheal's had The Slice machine by Making Memories 40% off.  I have been watching it for a year.  Since it only cuts to up to 4'', I plan to use it primarily for Accents.  Instead of investing in a lot of punches, The Slice is good for adding the finishing touch.   Only down side is that it cuts at .5 increments and .25 is better for slight borders.

The card dimensions is 4.25 x 5.5
The Slice scallop and circle at 2 -1/2 and 2 respectively
Cuttlebug flower
Ribbon I got from Tuesday Morning (They actually will have The Slice bundle for sale August 3)
Martha Stewart Border Punch
Making Memory Brad
